Hismith Pro Mini Sex MachineSex machines: a luxury that can give inhuman amounts of thrusting pleasure, often reserved only for those flush with cash and storage space—but not anymore. Smaller models have entered the game and are here to bring intense thrusting experiences to the masses. The Hismith Pro Mini Sex Machine promises otherworldly thrusts for vaginas, anuses, or even penises if you buy the correct attachments.

But does it stay stable, overheat, or require a ton of upkeep? Find out with me in my Hismith Pro Mini Sex Machine review.

Update: Seeing the positive response, we went out of our way to negotiate a special deal with Hismith for you! If you buy the sex machine directly through the Hismith site, you can use a discount code: HM10 to get 10% off + Free Spring Attachment ($40 value)!

Key Takeaways
4.6 out of 5 stars

After testing the Pro Mini and the Hismith 4.0, it’s easy to see that the Pro Mini is a steal. Discreet and easy to use, the Pro Mini outdoes numerous sex machines in its price range. It provides nearly everything that its big brother, the 4.0, does but at a greatly reduced price. The big drawback is the reduction in thrusting depth, but if that doesn’t matter to you, then you’ve found your sex machine.

Who Should Try It: Want a device that’s built to last and has tons of features but is slightly easier on your budget? The Pro Mini should be in your shopping cart already.

Who Can Skip It: If you need deep thrusting action, you’ll want to spring for the Hismith 4.0, which goes much deeper.

You Can Buy It on the official Hismith website for $380.

What Is the Hismith Pro Mini Sex Machine?

The Hismith Pro Mini Sex Machine is a smaller but no less powerful thrusting apparatus. With speeds up to 240 strokes per minute, endless rhythms, and shocking stability, this is the perfect mid-range buy for someone who wants to see what the world of sex machines has to offer. You can use an app or the remote control to operate it, and it fits neatly into its canvas duffle bag once you’re finished.

First Impressions and Features

Unboxing

Unboxing a sex machine is different from unboxing other sex toys. A machine is too cumbersome to come in a cute little package with a sexy design and a velvet storage bag. Instead, they are usually just plastic-wrapped parts shipped unceremoniously in a cardboard box. But Hismith provides an elevated unboxing experience. Everything is secured in a duffle bag that you can keep for storage, and it’s packed tidily so that nothing will bang around in transit.

The Hismith machine inside the box

I’ll say this about how discreet their delivery is: I couldn’t tell who the package was from, to the point where I had to open the box even before unboxing it to check to see what was inside. And inside, all I saw was a black duffle with no visible label. It doesn’t get any more discreet than that! Someone would have to open your package, pull out the duffle, and then fish out the instructions to know what you ordered. Your secret is safe with Hismith!

Inside the box, you’ll find (seen in the image below):

  • The sex machine
  • A sturdy, portable black bag
  • A user manual for the sex machine and the app
  • A power adapter
  • A remote control
  • A sleek silicone dildo

The app manual has a few QR codes that you can scan to download the app or the app’s instruction manual. The user manual for the sex machine is much more in-depth and doesn’t require any downloading.

The content of the box

With a machine this complex, it’s worth reading the whole manual to familiarize yourself with the maintenance. But to save you some time, here are my highlights from the warnings and precautions: it’s not waterproof, so don’t use it near water, and don’t use it for more than half an hour at a time or it may overheat.

The user manual also contains a visual guide of some dildos and other attachments you can use with the Pro Mini if you feel like spending more cash. The dildos range from 6-10+ inches, and there are also male masturbators (pocket pussies) that you can use, making this an excellent stimulator for people of any gender.

How Do I Use the Hismith Pro Mini?

Learning to use a sex machine takes some time and patience, but the Pro Mini minimizes the learning curve as much as possible. After you open the box and discard all the plastic, wipe down all the pieces and assemble using the instructions from the user manual.

Decide whether you want to use the remote control or the app. Notably, there’s a power cord but no on/off switch, so you will have to use either the remote control or the app.

If you start with the remote control, grab a AAA battery since it’s not included. As you can see in the image below, the remote has a four-button panel, with a plus at the top, an H, a minus, and a down arrow. I initially found the separate minus button and down arrow confusing, but eventually, I got used to what they meant.

The remote control

If you’re using the app, download it and sign in. Once you’re in the app, you press the top right Bluetooth button to add a new connection, and your toy should pop up if it’s plugged in. Then, you click connect, and you’re ready to go.

Next, use a lot of water-based lube and consume some erotic material. The manual suggests placing a condom on the dildo, which is essential if you will be sharing this amongst different partners or body parts. Sex toys can transmit STIs, too!

Get positioned and insert the dildo before turning the machine on. Go slower than you think you need to in order to prevent injury!

The user manual

To clean the Pro Mini, use dry paper or cotton towels. If you use anything wet, it needs to be left to airdry immediately. You can clean the silicone dildo with warm water and antibacterial soap or a sex toy cleaner.

Then, disassemble and store in the duffle bag to keep the machine safe from the elements.

My Personal Experience

Whenever I play with a sex machine, the thing that takes the longest to get ready is me. It’s not the machine’s setup time that is protracted, typically, even if it is sent in a million little pieces. I take longer to get turned on enough to brave a thruster that reaches speeds of 240 thrusts per minute. This isn’t a complaint; this is a recommendation.

So, when you are prepping to use the Hismith Pro Mini Sex Machine, don’t skimp on the arousal portion of the festivities. Use more lube than you think is necessary or reasonable, and then watch, read, or listen to something that turns you on. Trying this toy dry is a fool’s errand. But getting yourself into a deeply relaxed, feral state is part of the fun.

The user manual says that the Pro Mini will allow you to experience “harder, better, faster, and longer sex than any human can ever offer you.” So, you’ll need to be wetter than you are for typical penetration.

Most sex machines tend to heat up after extended use, and I wanted to see how the Pro Mini performed after a long play session. When I tested it for around half an hour, it was just barely warm. The Pro Mini never overheated during my play sessions!

Packaging

The packaging is discreet, and the product is tucked snugly into the portable storage bag (image below). For a sex machine, there’s no better packaging out there! I do wish that they included the AAA batteries needed to operate the remote—it seems a little bit cheap to skimp on a battery.

Assembly/Setup

I have a handful of sex machines, and each time I get a new one, I’m nervous about the setup. Overall, I’m always pleasantly surprised with how easy most companies make it to get to know their thruster, and the Hismith Pro Mini was no exception.

I was relieved when I saw how many parts came separately (not very many at all). It looked like it would be even easier to put together than the Lovense sex machine, which was incredibly straightforward. I decided to try assembling it the first time without reading the instructions because I am a daredevil and I realize a lot of people hate to sit down and read user manuals.

The content of the box

Without instructions, the total setup time straight out of the box took me under three minutes. After that, it took only two minutes. The hardest part and basically the only part is getting the poles through the holes. The legs were greasy and the clamp was pretty tight, so they were hard to hang onto. You must really wiggle it to get it in, but again, it only took me a few seconds.

The instructions in the manual are clear, and there are only four steps between you and multiple orgasms. First, you remove the protective plastic that protects the legs. Then, you insert the t-shaped legs into the holes of the main machine, adjust the clip tension and height of the machine, and connect the power adapter. You’re done!

Design

Sex machines are getting sleeker and sleeker, and the Hismith Pro Mini is a prime example of this. The design looks modern, and setup and disassembly are easier than you think. The feet have no-slip grips, a thoughtful touch that works well on hardwood, tile, and linoleum but doesn’t do much on carpet.

The opposite side of the machine

The body of the Hismith Pro Mini Sex Machine looks a bit like a ukelele, so I was a bit surprised to learn that Hismith sells a thruster called the Ukelele, but it’s different from the Pro Mini. It’s an attractive apparatus, having an elevated aesthetic compared to some of the more bare-bones fucking machines.

Lastly, and most importantly, the Pro Mini stays in place relatively well even at higher speeds—something that other thrusters have failed to do.

Material

The materials used to make the Pro Mini are body-safe and durable. Some sex machines send the tacky, dust-seducing dildos that feel lifelike but are impossible to sterilize, and I appreciated that this one came with something I could clean in a heartbeat.

Hismith Pro Mini in an upward angle

Each leg is wrapped in plastic, which helps it not get nicked up on the way but also creates a heartbreaking amount of waste. I’d love to see a little less plastic in future shipments.

Stimulations

The Hismith Pro Mini’s stimulations are extreme, but you already knew that. Sex machines are made for people who linger at the extreme end of the spectrum. This apparatus was made to accomplish the superhuman feat of powerful, fast thrusting, and it does all that and then some.

Sound Level

A sex machine is never quiet, so if you have thin walls, secrecy is going to be a problem. Turn on loud music, or only use it when your housemates are out. When I tested the decibels, they ranged from 51 to 69, with the manual suggesting that they ranged from 30-60 dB.

Me measuring the sound level using a decibel meter.

Pro-tip: if you hear a clicking sound, screw the pre-installed rod in a little tighter. When I first put this together, the motor’s noise was compounded by an incessant clicking sound, and the culprit was a rod that was too loose.

Build Quality and Dimensions

This sex machine is smaller and lighter than most, which you would think would compromise some of the stability. When I tried it, I found that it rocked around a bit at the highest speeds, but I was shocked at how well it stayed in place overall. (You can see how the size compares with our other sex machines in the below image.)

Hismith 4.0, Hismith Pro Mini, and the Lovense Mini Sex Machine

When the Pro Mini showed up, the legs were greasy. I’m not sure if this was intentional to make it easier to set up or merely residue from manufacturing. However, it stained our sheet and may stain someone’s carpet, so be careful where you set it. You may want to put a towel down if you’re using it on anything prone to staining.

Ease of Use

The Hismith Pro Mini Sex Machine requires a little bit of maintenance, more so than your average sex toy that just needs to be cleaned, bagged, and charged between uses. The manual advises that you lubricate the sliding rail with heat-resistant gear oil every three months.

App

I have used the Hismith app before and was excited to see if it worked well again. It’s loaded with options that made me want to play for hours. There are four main sections in the app: play, community, store, and me. ‘Play’ is the home screen where you can see other people’s preferred rhythms and speeds. ‘Community’ is where you can follow others and see what’s trending, including updates from the Hismith company. ‘Store’ is where you used to be able to buy attachments, but that wasn’t working when I tried it this time. And ‘Me’ is where you can update your profile, message others, and interact with those who are using the same device.

The smartphone app

When you’re ready to begin, choose from solo, remote, mode, or group play. Solo play is a straightforward dial to increase the speed. Remote play is where you can invite your friends to control the toy. Mode play is where you create your own rhythms or use some from the community. In group play, you can create a room and play with up to five other people. There is also a microphone mode that will respond to sounds and a shaking mechanism where it speeds up when you shake the phone. However, I tried the phone shaking, and that one would have exhausted my arm well before I was able to climax.

If you turn the Hismith Pro Mini Sex Machine on with the app and then close out the app, the thruster will keep thrusting—it doesn’t automatically turn off. And there’s no power button, so you’ll have to get back into the app to turn it off. The lack of the power button could be a discretion issue for some, but it didn’t dissuade me from using it.

Versatility

The Hismith Pro Mini is quite versatile. With the right attachments, it works for people of any gender—as long as they like thrusting or pocket pussies.

Adding to its versatility is the fact that you can control the Pro Mini with an app, making it excellent for long-distance couples. The remote control means you can hand off control to your partner across the room or have easier access to the buttons yourself. You can also design your own thrusting patterns and socialize with others on the platform.

Closeuo of the Kliclok system

The machine itself uses the Kliclok system (image above) for connecting the dildo to the machine, something that is easier to use than it is to spell. The Kliclok system is compatible with many dildos, so if you don’t like the shape, size, or look of the one that comes with the Pro Mini, you can grab another Kliclok-compatible dildo that suits you better.

Warranty and Support

Hismith offers a one-year warranty on its products for defective workmanship or materials. They won’t replace the product if it breaks due to improper use, and you’ll void the warranty if you try to repair the machine yourself. If something seems wrong, contact Hismith right away.

Minor Issues I Found During Testing

The Hismith Pro Mini Sex Machine was a shockingly stable, easy to set up thrusting machine. But there were a few drawbacks, including that you must oil it every three months, it doesn’t have a power button, and it’s quite expensive.

Alternatives to the Hismith Pro Mini Sex Machine

Lovense Mini Sex Machine

The Lovense Mini Sex Machine and the Pro Mini are a lot alike. I enjoyed the Lovense app a bit more than the Hismith app, and it is easier to use for camming purposes. The Hismith’s remote control is less cheap and more versatile, and the Pro Mini is much more stable. They have similar prices, so it will depend on whether you want a better app experience or more stability.

Lovense Mini Sex Machine

You can read my full review of the Lovense Mini Sex Machine here.

Lovense Sex Machine

The Lovense Sex Machine is a thruster that goes faster than the Pro Mini—up to 300 thrusts per minute. You can connect two dildos to it so that two people can play at once, making it slightly more versatile. The Lovense Machine costs around $700, so it’s wildly expensive and only meant for those who need record-breaking speeds, the ability to pleasure two people, or an app made for cammers.

Hismith 4.0 Sex Machine

The Pro Mini is basically a smaller, more affordable version of the Hismith 4.0. The 4.0 costs about $600 but runs like a dream. Both are app-compatible, but the Pro Mini is easier to assemble and comes in far fewer pieces. The 4.0 comes with a liquid silicone dildo, which, in my experience, is harder to clean and gathers more dust but is far more realistic than the smooth black dildo that comes with the Pro Mini.

Hismith 4.0 Premium Sex Machine adjusted in a downward angle

The Pro Mini weighs less than half—11 lbs compared to the 4.0’s 24—and is easier to disassemble, but it doesn’t come with a dust cover. The 4.0 has digital display control, which looks more modern than the remote control that comes with the Mini. Most importantly, the Pro Mini has a shorter range of stroke lengths, so people who want deep thrusts must buy the 4.0.

The first time I set up the Hismith 4.0, it took me just under half an hour to clean and assemble all the pieces. The Pro Mini took only a few minutes. Further, the Pro Mini doesn’t have LED lights that change incrementally with speed and pattern changes, so it has a less visceral experience. If you decide on the Pro Mini, you’ll only spend around $410, saving nearly $200.
